British
Columbia Senior Baseball Association (B.C.S.B.A.) hosts
their Provincial Championship every B.C. Day long-weekend
(August). The Victoria Mavericks have attended this
tournament every year since its inception and also won
the inaugural Provincial Championship back in 1978.
Provincial Champions in the year 2000, the Mavericks
will be in the hunt again for this prestigious title
this coming August as the designate 'host-city' for
the 2007 B.C.S.B.A. Provincial Championships. Here are
